There is something about Heidi's story that just makes your soul reconnect with your own wild. Visiting the original Heidi house took me back to my childhood. It is a story about second chances and transformation and meeting people and loving them where they are at. It is about Heidi spending so much of the first part of her life wondering and learning, and then using what she learned with that childlike wonder to soften hearts and change lives.
Black Forest | Triberg In the heart of the black forest lies a magical little town of singing cuckoo clocks, black forest cake, waterfalls, woodcarving, and a misty mysteriousness that will keep you captivated. This little gem is called Triberg.
Hiking Seealpsee, Äscher, Wildkirchi, Ebenalp and Säntis in the Swiss Alps was one of my favourite bucket-list experiences. Wasserauen was a magical place that humbled and delighted me. Lemon for zest and freshly baked bread, butter and jam for balance.
